A small group of Long Beach Job Corps students made a big difference at the Head Start/Early Head Start Center operated by the Long Beach Unified School District on Friday, October 21, 2011.  The students, accompanied by a staff member, spent the morning with the children as part of their Make a Difference Day activity. 

 The students read to the children, played inside and outdoors with them, and also helped Head Start staff members reorganize their classrooms. The Long Beach Job Corps students were greeted by the children and were impressed by the  huge sign outside the entrance welcoming them.
