Barnabe R. just needed a little encouragement to help him thrive.  Mr. Matthew Davis, who was his Career  Counselor at the time, was just the person to give him that encouragement along the way.

According to Mr. Davis,   ”Job  Corps was  stability for Barnabe when  he  needed it and he used it as a springboard into a career of service-helping other youth.”

Barnabe was hired on a part time basis and they liked him so much that they hired him for a full time position. He works at the Val Verde Unified School District as an Instructional Aide and continues to do well a year later.
