On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, personnel from Marinello School of Beauty conducted a presentation for Long Beach Job Corps attendees and helped students get beautified and feel better about their appearance. With shears, dryers, and curling irons in hand, the visitors performed their magic in the center’s gymnasium. 

Long Beach Job Corps students eagerly signed up and by the end of the day 15 barbers and professional hairstylists-in -training did 58 haircuts and styles. Students enjoyed their new look, and many students were more interview-ready with a good haircut that boosted their confidence and gave them an edge.
