Long Beach Job Corps Center students participated in the Mayor’s Build, a Habitat for Humanity project located on Chestnut Avenue in Long Beach, California as one of the center’s Make A Difference Day projects.
The project is called The Mayor’s Build due to the support of City of Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster, who was instrumental in the project coming to fruition.
The students worked outdoors helping to level what will soon become the new homeowner’s lawn. The students were accompanied by two of their instructors, who worked tirelessly alongside them and provided them with instruction and encouragement.
