Ms. Leah Jackson, representative from our community partner Shorter College, setup a table in the cafeteria during lunch on Feb. 18. She was able to introduce the programs that Shorter College has to offer to students. Shorter College is a private community college sponsored by the African Methodist Episcopal Church that is located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. There are five academic programs to choose from: Basic Studies, Christian Leadership, Child Development, Entrepreneurial Studies, and Criminal Justice. The college offers low tuition along with financial aid and a multitude of student activities and services.
