Work-Based Learning (WBL) Advisor John Bednara, teamed up with Culinary Instructor Chef Dawan Heard to successfully obtain a new WBL partnership with Fresh Ideas on March 8th.  Fresh Ideas is a franchise company located on the campus of Philander Smith College. Their mission is to provide excellent food service management through commitment, confidence and professionalism. The Fresh Ideas Company franchise operates within several other cities, as well as internationally, and is a well-known and respected franchise company.

Culinary Arts students Kendrick Mills and Dominique Williams began working at Fresh Ideas the week of March 14th. They have both stated that they are enjoying the experience. Little Rock is excited to partner with Fresh Ideas to develop young adults into great business professionals.
