Little Rock Students Climb the Mountain!

On Saturday, Jan. 9, Center Standards and Incentives Office Supervisor and the CSIO took a group of students on a CSIO trip to Pinnacle Mountain. The trip was both educational and rewarding, as students learned to put their differences aside and work together as a team in order to reach the top of the mountain. They faced many obstacles such as rain and difficult terrain, which needed to be navigated through very carefully with the assistance of their peers. The trip encouraged and motivated the students to never give up and to rely on each other as a resource and support.
Students Carolyn Denny, Alasia Everett and Cameron Ball played a big role in assisting and encouraging others to reach their goal to the top.
Once they reached the top of the mountain, student Krystal Glover stated, “It feels like we are sitting on top of the world!”
Student Cameron Ball said, “All of the instructions given on the trip apply to life, rules and expectations on and off the center“.
All students agreed that the trip brought them closer, vowed to do better in the program and were grateful for the opportunity to be taken out of their comfort zone and experience an educational trip that they will remember for a life time. Little Rock looks forward to more educational trips in the future.
