Little Rock Student Heads to LA for Advanced Training

Victoria Henderson transferred from Little Rock to the Los Angeles Job Corps Center on Nov. 3 in order to attend the Airline Services Worker Advanced Training Program through TCU/IAM. While at Little Rock, Victoria completed the Office Administration trade. She was a model student who daily demonstrated excellent employability skills.

From the day Victoria set foot in the Office Administration class, she had her mind set on attending Advanced Training. She quickly showed herself to be a dependable student who needed little direction. As an assistant to the Center Standards and Incentive Office (CSIO) Supervisor during her Work-Based Learning assignment, she was given multiple assignments and required no supervision to complete her work.

She was awarded CSIO Student of the Month, Career Technical Training Student of the Month and Center Director Student of the Month. When asked about Victoria’s performance, the Office Administration Instructor mentioned she was the quiet student who sat in the back of the class. She had her goals set and never wavered.
Little Rock is proud to have Victoria join the graduates of the Little Rock Job Corps and look forward to hearing of her successes in Los Angeles.
