Career Preparation Pre-90 students enjoyed a day at Pinnacle Mountain State Park for a Team Building Hiking activity on March 4th. The 23 students hiked the Rocky Valley Trail for 2.5 miles, where they ended at a spot called the “Scenic Overlook” of the Arkansas River. The students were excited to reach the top and they all embraced the view of the river and the forestry.
Here is what some of the students had to say about the event:
Elizabeth Taylor stated, “Although I was not dressed to climb mountains, it was a good experience to have with my classmates.”
Lisa Littles stated, “I saw new things in the world. I have never been there and I felt like there was something new to see and learn anywhere you turned.”
Keyona Alexander stated, “I had a great time. It was fun to experience nature and different things on the trail with my fellow students.”
Damiyon Brown stated, “The hike gave me a workout. It gave me a chance to learn more about my peers and bonding with the instructors.”
Nehemiah Abdullah stated, “I enjoyed the team building of helping others up the mountain.”
