Little Rock Ladies in Action Volunteer at the Arkansas Dream Center

The Ladies in Action group volunteered at the Arkansas Dream Center on March 19 to participate in one of their programs that feed the homeless. The vision of the Arkansas Dream Center is to see thousands of hurting people come to know a new life through the efforts of their staff, volunteers, and recently rehabilitated individuals whose lives have been dramatically changed.
Azjah Henry served milk and snacks. Alexandra Tillman greeted the individuals and served coffee, cappuccino and water and also ensured they received sugar and creamer. Nicole Norton, Victoria Sadler, Lareen Smith, Dominique Williams, and Ms. McDonnell served individuals.
Nicole Norton enjoyed volunteering so much that she asked when they could come back to serve at the Dream Center. Mr. Hall of the Dream Center told Nicole, “Yes, of course! In the evening, we feed the children and you all can come and assist with feeding and helping them with their homework.”
The students made sure everyone that attended the dinner felt welcomed. The students were amazed with how many people showed up to be fed. The students listened to the visitors stories of their lives. The volunteer service left an impression on the students they will not forget.
