The Little Rock Job Corps Center hosted the Center Industry Council Meeting on Dec. 10. Guests from five different companies joined the Career Technical Training staff for lunch and discussions. After a warm welcome from Office Administration student and Student Government Association Vice President, Katlin Oltmer, Ron Settlers and Cheryl Washington from Sims BBQ were recognized for their continued partnership to place culinary students, as well as participation as a Work-Based Learning site. Other guests included; Nick Burton from Middlebrooks Electric, Brian Gangoso from Hancock Staffing, Joel Johnson from PI Roofing, Evangeline Parker and Natalie Stell from Comcast.
Guests were given the opportunity to look over each trade Training Achievement Record (TAR) and provide feedback and additional areas of training that may lead to better employment opportunities for our students. The Career Technical Training team appreciates the feedback and looks forward to working with these partners in the future.
