Deputy Center Director Ruby Allen and Social Development Director Willie Funches, collaborated in organizing an Open House for the Social Development Department on Dec. 9. The Open House should help bridge the gap between the Education & Training, Finance & Administration, and Social Development departments. Staff from Career Technical Training, Academics, Wellness, Records, Human Resources and Finance visited the dorms and chatted with students and dorm staff while having refreshments. The event was a huge success, as staff got to put faces with names they’ve only seen on emails. The students especially enjoyed mingling with the E&T staff outside of the typical classroom setting.
