Little Rock Job Corps students toured Philander Smith College on February 4th, with Career Preparation Period Instructors Brittany Dockery and Tailyn Funches. The students visited the newest edition to the library, The Melissa and Kevin Katz Collection Art exhibit. The art represents and depicts traditional clothing and customs from 9 countries in West and Central Africa including Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, the Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Nigeria and Mali. The Katz Collection is on display in the Philander Smith College Archives on the second floor of the library.
