Advanced Training Gains Two Great Students from the Little Rock Job Corps

Little Rock Job Corps Center had the great privilege to send two of our students to Advanced Training on January 12th.
Nora Gunn will attend the Advanced Culinary Arts Program at Treasure Island Job Corps in San Francisco, California. She has been an exemplary student since day one on center. Nora showed great ambition when completing the Culinary Arts trade, as she was named Sous Chef shortly after beginning the trade.
Having served as President for the center’s Student Government Association and as a Y2Y student ambassador, Nora was quickly recognized as a leader for the center. Nora is an extremely bright young lady who will go on to do extraordinary things. Little Rock Job Corps knows that she will shine positive light on the Center through her work ethic.
Issac Pritchett transitioned to the Advanced Human Service Worker Program at Grafton Job Corps in Massachusetts. Isaac came to our center with one goal in mind: Advanced Training. He has been a standout at Little Rock Job Corps, having been a leader in all that he was involved with, including being a Y2Y student ambassador. Issac showed true leadership skills both in the Office Administration classroom, and the Student Government Association on center.
Issac continually proved that he was Advanced Training material by showing up to class and doing as he was asked. Little Rock has absolutely no doubt that he will represent the Center well.
Little Rock is truly proud of these two students and we are so happy that they chose to continue their Job Corps experiences with Advanced Training. Both Nora and Issac will go on to achieve great things through their hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to you both!
