The Little Rock Job Corps Center Wellness Department partnered with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Pharmacy students in holding a Health Fair for the student body on Saturday, November 19th. The pharmacy students provided basic counseling and information about Diabetes, Legislative, and Remember the Ribbon (Aids Awareness) to 60 students and staff. They provided blood pressure, blood glucose, and a short PowerPoint presentation covering basic health needs. The flu vaccine was offered, along with a line dance exercise and plenty of healthy snack options for the students.
