On January 12, 2011, the Business and Accounting class under the supervision of Ms. Irma De Luna, Instructor, attended a Customer Service Seminar sponsored by the Laredo Chamber of Commerce and Texas A&M International University. Through these trainings, our students are motivated and empowered to utilize the basic customer service concepts that, when used effectively, will ultimately lead to attracting and retaining customers. Also, they experienced one-on-one conversations with different community leaders such as Mr. Javier Moctezuma, President of the Laredo Federal Credit Union and Ms. Clema Owens, Marketing Director from the Embassy Suite of Laredo.
