On March 3, 2016, The Kittrell job Corps Center  Women’s Worth collaborated with the KJCC ’s Committee to Celebrate Women’s Month. Over 45 female students from both Dorms.  Female Staff supported the event. Prizes were given and each Dorm received A “Gift Basket” and other student received goodies. One young lady won the grand prized “ Gift Basket”   Female students and Staff enjoyed refreshments, games and dancing. Big shout out to Chef and his Team, The Refreshments were a great treat to all who attended.

March is National Women’s Month. Rosa Bullock, CSIO Supervisor, and Vanessa Crawford, Wellness Manager partnered together to kick off the month honoring females by hosting a Women’s Worth Meeting. Female students and staff joined in to share support for one another , while enjoying food, music, and bonding activities.

The Center has planned a variety of events and activities to celebrate Women’s Month through out the month of March. The next event will be planned is a Women’s Day Tea Party that will be held on March 16, 2016 at 6:00pm.
