Kittrell JCC students hosted a Black History Month program at the Vance County Senior Center as part of the centers monthly celebrations on February 24, 2016. They represented individuals who have contributed to society and overcame adversity to succeed. The Gang Of 8 Players performed the play, “Walk through History”. The performance was well received by the senior citizens. Shavada Rosenboro led the cast of characters, with Jaquese Jones, Joshua Squries, Nick Perez, Brandon Cooke Shrum, Kristina Graham, Felicitas Pevez Rodriguez and David Moore. Staff attendees were Jerry Marlin, Academics Math Instructor and Joan Robinson, BCL Director.
