Kittrell JCC held its quarterly Industry  and Community Relations Council meeting  on December 10, 2015. There were a total of 46  attendances. It was well represented with Employer Partners, School Representatives, Civic and Non-profit Agencies, Youth Group Agencies, Faith Based Community, Local, State and Government Officials. Joan Robinson BCL Director gave the welcome and the introduction of the guest.  BCL discussed the center’s OBS and asked the group to support the center’s recruitment efforts. She also provided an update on the center’s community involvement. Jun       Juntunen with the Henderson Fire Department  provided a Holiday Safety Topic. Rev. Dr. Cassandra Sparrow gave the invocation and  provided a presentation on “Sustaining Job Corps Support  2015-2016 and Beyond”. Diane Fisher, CTR Coordinator, provided an update on the Center’s newly established employer partnerships. Norman Turner, Deputy Center Director,    provided an Education & Training overview/update, Center Update and the closing remarks.
