Kittrell Job Corps Center joined the Vance Granville Community College Earth Day Celebration on April 22nd.  The Medical Administrative Assistant Instructor and trade students provided an information table display on how to  upcycle, down cycle, and recycle office items into convenient and useable office supplies. The theme was “Going Green in the Office”.  This event was open to the public and Vance Granville Community College students. Center  students used the opportunity to talk with college students and learn about the campus. “I really enjoyed VGCC Earth Day celebration, meeting the students and eating the nutritious BBQ mealworms and crickets. This was my first eating insects”, said Jasmine Salomon, Medical Administrative Assistant student.
