Kittrell Job Corps Center students volunteered to assist the Henderson Police and Sheriff Department with its National Night Out Against Crime event on August 11th. They provided a table display sharing program information and resources available to recruit potential applicants. The students also served free drinks and popcorn to over 200 citizens who patronized the event. National Night Out is where law enforcement agencies and other organizations come out to build relationships, enhance the morale and culture with residents of Henderson and fight against crime together. Kittrell students met Henderson Mayor, Eddie Ellington, and Sheriff Peter White and interacted with law enforcement and firefighters.
