Kittrell Job Corps Center Graduate Shavada Rosenboro was the guest speaker at the April Grad-90 Celebration. She talked to the group about her success at the center and in her Office Assistant Trade. She encouraged the group with the words, “you can do it, when you put your mind to it.” Shavada will begin working April 25^th, 2016 at Xerox  Business Solutions in Raleigh, NC as a Technical Support Person earning $11 an hour.

The event celebrated 70 Grad-90 students who enjoyed a lunch prepared and served by the Culinary Arts Students under the direction of Chef Kevin Fabretti. CTR Coordinator, Diane Fisher, shared information with the group on  Advanced Training opportunities with TCU and Human Services Worker. Student Ahmed Herron, AHSW student, shared information about the program and some of the things they are learning in their trade. The event closed with drawings for a variety of door prizes.
