Kittrell Job Corps Center Academics Manager Nadirah Al’Uqdah, and staff are pleased to announce their first 12.9 Luncheon! This event was held on April 14, 2016 in the Culinary Arts Dining Hall.  Sixty students were acknowledge for achieving an initial gain, a Math gain, and/or a Reading gain score of 12.9 in the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Students celebrated with pizza, music, certificates, and novelties. Nadirah Al’Uqdah, Academic Manager, recognized her staff in addition to the students for playing a pivotal role in the success of these students and the Academic Department. The Academic Department Manager and staff look forward in continuing the growth in its students as well as hosting the 12.9 Luncheon on a monthly  basis.
