December 8, 2011 Kittrell Job Corps Center students assisted the Salvation Army with its Red Kettle Bell Ringer Drive . Students collected donations from shoppers at the Henderson Walmart. All donated funds provided food and toys for  needy families during the Christmas Holiday. This community service project was published in the Oxford Public Ledger on Thursday, December 29, 2011.
