On June 29, 2016 Kittrell Job Corps Center held its new student welcome breakfast. Milton Kennedy, WEN Outreach Counselor, attended and took the opportunity to talk with students that he recruited. Culinary Arts students Dwayne Washburn and Hailey Marsh both are from the Bethes Homeless Shelter in Winston Salem, NC. Students Hailey Marsh and Dwayne Washburn are excelling in the program, have established their Job Corps goals and are looking forward to College and Advanced Training upon completion. “Kittrell Job Corps Center gave me hope and a second chance at life:, said Hailey Marsh. According to Dwayne Washburn Kittrell Job Corps Center took him off the streets and saved his life.
