Kittrell Job Corps Center recieved a news publication in  the Henderson Daily Dispatch on February 22, 2011. The center recieved media coverage on its black history month program held on center on February 24, 2011. Vance County Commissioner, Terry Garrison was the guest speaker. He provided historical and cultural information on the past and present  African American History.
