On August 25, 2022, Kittrell Job Corps Center celebrated National Signing Day on center in the gymnasium. As the center continues to fill with returning students from district learning and new students the center held the event in the centers gymnasium signing on board new students. These students dedicated themselves not only to the center, but most importantly to their future, careers and independence. Archie Taylor, Vance County Commissioner presented Norman Turner, Center Director  a proclamation on behalf of City of Henderson Mayor, Eddie Ellington declaring August 25, 2022 National Signing Day for Kittrell Job Corps Center. Terry Garrison, NC House of Representatives provided a warm congratulations to all students emphasizing the quality of the program and informing students of the wonderful assets to them as a participates. By signing letters to launch their careers the students positioned themselves to take full control of their futures.
