After Kittrell Job Corps Center Signing event held on August 25, 20022 in the center gymnasium, students and staff held a roundtable discussion with elected officials Terry Garrison, NC House of Representatives and Archie Taylor, Vance County Commissioner. During the round table discussion students shared their lives prior to enrollment into Job Corps, accomplishments, transitional plans. Students were also interviewed by The Editor from the Henderson Daily Dispatch where they shared their commitment and future plans. The students and staff conducted a center tour for center guest. As a result of the the event and students interviews, Kittrell made the front page of the Henderson Daily Dispatch on August 30, 2022 showcasing the students commitment and dedication to the program, opportunities at KJCC, its impact and quality training provided to them..
