Kittrell Job Corps Center held its quarterly virtual Community Relations and Workforce Council meeting on March 22, 2022. The meeting was well represented with a total of twenty-eight participants. During the meeting Center Director, Norman Turner and staff provided updates on the center operation, Education and Training programs, highlights from previous events, and schedules of upcoming community events. Guest speakers included: Kyle Burwell, Vance-Granville Community College Director Occupational Extension & HRD; Sharon Thomas , Workforce Development Representative; Michele Burgess, Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce President; Reginald Speights, State Director NC State Office Rural Development; and Carla Boyd, Vocational Rehabilitation.
