Kittrell Hosts Women’s Day Program

March 31, 2016 Women’s Day Program sponsor by the Wellness Department and other center staff to provide health related information for our female students. Small seminars was held in five different classrooms in the CTT building. Ms. Somerville, Medical Office Instructor, provided information” Dress for appropriate size in workplace with a fashion show to demonstrate  the appropriateness”, Ms. Falcon, CNA instructor provided information on personal hygiene as it relate to being a young lady”,  Mr. Brown, academic instructor, provided insight, “ how a man see a woman, Ms. Bullock, CSIO, demonstrated,” how to wear make-up appropriately”, and Ms. Kittrell and Ms. Fisher CTS/CTR,” impress upon the students the important to  dress for success on your job”. Each student was greeted by staff and presented with a flower as they enter the CTT Building.

After, the seminar were held students escorted to the gym for more enrichment of knowledge present by the Center Physician, Ms. Audrey Tinsley, PA.  The gym was decorated with multiple pastel color such pink, yellow, green, blue, lavender and balloon.  Ms. Tinsely capture the attention of the students and staff alike, bring the history of women and how the life has change from one generation to another. She also,    express how important for student to choose people who are successful or those who want the same quality of success in life and hang out with them. Ms. Tinsley share the value in a women and what’s the different between a woman and lady. The more she spoke about relationship and life itself the more the student amazed by her. Refreshment was served to student and staff and some even received a tea cup from the previous Tea Party held earlier in the month.
