In celebrating Earth Day, Kittrell Job Corps Center partnered with the Vance County Appearance Commission to conduct a Spring Litter Sweep Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on April 21, 2016. Students and staff picked up trash alongside US Hwy. #1 South in Kittrell, NC.  All items collected were recycled. The NC Department of Transportation provided all supplies for the event. Kittrell will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for   participation from Pat McCrory, Governor of North Carolina.
