The Advanced Human Services Worker Program held their official open house on June 2, 2016.  Center students and staff  received a warm welcome, toured and enjoyed refreshments. The AHSW students were excited to show off their new “digs” and welcomed center staff and students who ventured by. The AHSW students recognize their role in promoting a positive  normative culture and their new classroom puts them in position to mentor, model, and monitor new incoming Career Preparation Period students.  AHSW instructor, Mr. Patton, challenges his students to carry on the “Culture of Care” that he espouses.  The facility was completely and professionally renovated by Facility Maintenance trade students as well as contributions by Brick Masonry students working under the supervision of Mr. Edward Chavis, Facility Maintenance  Instructor.
