On July 29, 2016 the Academics Department held its monthly 12.9 Luncheon! Academics Manager Nadirah Al’Uqdah, acknowledged 60 students for achieving an initial gain, a Math gain, and/or a Reading gain score of 12.9 in the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Ms. Al’Uqdah and staff presented each student with a certificate of completion.

During the celebration Ms. Al’Uqdah recognized her staff in addition to the students for their valuable role in the success of these students and the Academic Department.  The Culinary Arts Department hosted the 12.9 Pizza Luncheon in its Dining Hall. Students relaxed in an American style atmosphere, enjoying culinary pizza          creations such as meat lovers, pepperoni, cheese and  Hawaiian style pizza!
