RED RIBBON WEEK OBSERVED

In observance of “Red Ribbon Week” the Keystone Job Corps conducted an all center assembly Thursday, October 28th.

Bill, a local resident presented a very moving discussion to students and staff regarding his battle with addiction and its affect on his life.  In addition, a student shared her story through an original poetry reading.

Following the assembly students and staff gathered outside on the center’s athletic field releasing balloons in memory of their loved ones affected by drug addiction.

One student summarized the “Red Ribbon”  message well when stating “no matter how deep a hole you dig yourself into you can get out if you commit yourself to change.”
