On April 28th, Keystone student government representatives donated $380 to the local chapter of the Helping Hands Society. “Helping Hands a non-profit organization serves special needs children and their families through education and therapeutic services.” The funds were raised through a fried chicken sale and a staff/student basketball foul shooting competition.
The presentation covered by two local television stations: SSPTV 13 News and WYLN News 35 showed Keystone students interacting and playing with a child from Helping Hands. The report also mentioned students donating their time in assisting with the reabilitation of the organization’s playground.
