On Tuesday, February 21, Keystone had its first of what will be five scheduled blood drives this year. Jacqueline Dercole an account manager for the Northeastern Region of American Red Cross proclaimed the drive a success with the center reaching its goal of 84 units.
Keystone continues to be one of the largest blood donor sites in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Last year 455 units were donated. Although an ambitious goal, the center hopes to eclipse that total in 2012.
