The Keystone Job Corps Center was the setting for Leadership Hazleton’s recent session  “Cultural Threads-Our Global Tapestry.” 

Leadership’s three programs which include Junior Leadership, Leadership Hazleton and Silver Leadership along with student government representatives from Keystone exchanged ideas and discussed facts that affect the world today and in the future.

Dr. Dwayne Hilton, Director of Student Services at Penn State University led the first of two sessions with a view on a variety of life statistics from the nations of the world.  During the second session Dr. David Sosar of King’s College offered an interesting dialogue on the changing demographics of the Greater Hazleton area.

Overall the day’s activities provided a forum for the discussion, understanidng and celebration of the areas cultures and traditions.
