Keystone students were delighted to help honor World War II veterans at the Miners’ Village in Eckley, PA on July 16 and 17. Students volunteered to direct guests and participants to parking as well as the many weekend events. The celebration included military re-enactors, a USO show and many displays of memorabilia from that time.
The event also served to help educate the public about WWII; the affect on the United States and how soldiers served during the war.
