Joliet Herald News runs two photos of our students volunteering at GR2012: Celebrating Sustainability, an ecology festival held May 19 at Joliet Junior College. The photos show student Darrell Conley of Memphis, Tn., trying to return a snake to its owner while it is tied up in his volunteer vest and student Dacolis Sampson of Chicago rappelling down a climbing wall. More than 30 students helped out at the third annual fest. Joliet Job Corps is a partner agency sponsoring the festival.
