For the past four months, one dorm has held the title of Dorm Of The Month: The ladies of C.J. Walker have been standing tall for one-third of the year!

All of the dorms staff members have worked together to retain students and convince them to achieve and complete the program. The students who live in C.J. Walker have fewer disciplinary issues than their peers, and they also have a higher rate of completing high school and trade classes. The new C.J. Walker Counselor Cecelia Drane began in December and really hit the ground running in January, another factor in the dorm’s success.

The staff and students of C.J. Walker are to be congratulated for the dynasty they seem to be creating right now.
