When the students returned to the Joliet Job Corps Center after a three-week Winter Break, they were surprised by a Welcome Back Party hosted by the Student Government Association.

The theme was Favorite Sports Team, and everyone was proud to represent their favorites. The Chicago Bears, White Sox, Cubs, Black Hawks and Bulls had plenty of fans, of course. But there also were fans of the Steelers and other out-of-state teams.

The party featured a disc jockey who played every song the students requested. The group enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring ribs, chicken, potato salad, cookies and punch.
