The Pre-90 Day students who went to Brunswick Zone in Naperville on April 6 had a great time.

Although it was a damp spring day, they were laughing and joking while on the way to an afternoon filled with good company, fun, food and lots of bowling.

The bus ride to the bowling alley was a little longer than the students expected, but the trip inspired lively conversations and plenty of talk about who would be victorious at the end of the day.

After plenty of open bowling, the students realized that the best part of the trip wasn’t winning the bragging rights for the highest pin count. The real reward was the comradery, the laughter when balls went into the gutter even while using bumpers, the loud celebrations when someone actually hit a strike or picked up a spare, and the fun of fitting everyone into a selfie.

The trip also allowed the students to bond with the Career Preparation Period staff and counselors. Overall, the afternoon was a success, and everyone had a great time.
