No Violence Challenge at the Joliet Job Corps Center

Although no violence is an everyday expectation at the Joliet Job Corps Center, the Chicago Region recently issued a seven-day No Violence challenge.

The Joliet Job Corps Center has reached the goal. There hasn’t been any violent activity on Center in more than a week. Center Director Christine Sanchez has now challenged the students to see how long they can continue without bully, arguing or fighting with each other.

On Friday, the Center tallied 10 days without any of the negative and harmful activity. The Center’s leadership will continue to promote:

– NO violence in the classroom

– NO violence on the Dorms

– NO violence with each other
