Mondays are constructive, creative days for the Collegiates, a group of Joliet Job Corps Center students who are preparing to enroll in college.

On that day of the week, they typically are in the computer lab working on their latest set of goals.

Students Carolyn Hall, Justice Caldwell and Vanessa Johnston plan to attend Joliet Junior College as part of the Center’s ACT program. They have completed the application phase of enrollment and soon will go to the college to take their ACT Compass tests and participate in a tutoring program.

These three students have supported each other throughout the process of preparing for college and have given each other positive reinforcement. They truly are ready to step into a new life and future.
