President L.B. Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act on August 20, 1964. On August 20, 2024 Old Dominion Job Corps students, staff and guests celebrate 60 Years of Job Corps in an amazing awards to Community partners across the state. Happy 60th. Job Corps.

Mr. Bryan Lyttle, campus Director of Old Dominion Job Corps, spoke to our community partners on August 20, 2024. He stated, “We couldn’t do this without our community partners.” Mr. Lyttle told the crowd, “We need your involvement in working with us and helping our students. If it hadn’t been for the support that we had from our community, we wouldn’t have made it 60 years.”

Teamwork is the collaborative effort of groups of people working together to achieve a common goal.
