It was an exciting and eventful day for students at #OldDominionJobCorps, as they had the opportunity to participate in a Naval Seas System Command (NAVSEA) hiring event. Students heard directly from employers at the Navy shipyards for submarines in Newport News and Portsmouth, Maine.
Key leadership from Job Corps and the U.S. Department of Labor were on hand for this important event. The process went so well that the NAVSEA employers plan to interview more students on the Old Dominion campus on October 3. Partnerships like this are what make the Job Corps program so strong!
