Over 14,000 job seekers attended Congresswoman Corrine Brown’s 19th Annual Job and Resource Fair May 23, 2011 at the Prime Osborne Center. Jacksonville Job Corps students served as greeters to assist in managing the huge crowd. Over 100 employers were in attendance at this annual event.
Students were selected from each trade to attend and take part in the tremendous opportunity to present resumes, applications, and present themselves to potential employers. The JJC student greeters met the anxious crowds and directed them to vendors. It was an amazing experience for the students.
