Jacksonville Job Corps students and staff participated in the C-Core Mentoring Project.  Seven students and 3 staff volunteered to assisted with the Rock N Ride Community Awareness and Fundraiser for Daniels, Inc.  The Bikers rode 60 miles for the kids at Daniel and the volunteers assisted with setting up, serving the hundreds of participating Bikers and cleaning up.  The students had an opportunity to take a picture with Mayor Brown.  In his greetings to the audience the Mayor acknowledge the Jacksonville Job Corps students. 

The Jacksonville Job Corps Center has an on-going Mentoring Partnership with the C-Core Program.  Students and staff volunteered to mentors for students 16-18 years of age.  Students from the Jacksonville Job Corps Center had an opportunity to mingle with the Bikers and provide information about job Corps.
