Two years ago Ibrahim Nyei graduated from the Jacksonville Job Corps Center. Ibrahim is originally from Sierra Leone and came to the United States with his parents for a better life. He struggled in public school and later decided to attend the Jacksonville Job Corps Center where excelled. After completing his electrical trade Ibrahim was encouraged by his mentor/career services specialist to consider going into the military.
Upon his recent visit to the Jacksonville Job Corps Center Mr. Nyei stated that coming to Job Corps was the best thing that ever happened to him. He is a member of the United States Army now stationed in Oklahoma. Ibrahim was a positive student who always wore a smile and embraced a mindset of success.
