The week began with officer Ron Williams from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department Zone 5 brought a candid message to students about violence among youth. His message youth was to make good decisions for themselves and decide how to handle conflict. He ended his message with a tagline “Youth Violence Is Real”.

On Tuesday and Wednesday students gave back to community by volunteering with the Manna Serving Center, The Salvation Army, Feeding NE Florida and St. Paul MBC of Jacksonville in their efforts to assist the victims affected by hurricane Irma.
